Inviting Your Team
Section titled “Inviting Your Team”You probably aren’t running this faire alone. Invite your co-organizers so they can help manage judges, forms, and settings.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need Owner or Admin role
- Required permission:
members:invite
1. Open the Members page
Section titled “1. Open the Members page”Go to Settings in the sidebar, then click the Members tab.
2. Click Invite
Section titled “2. Click Invite”Hit the invite button to open the invitation dialog.
3. Enter their email and choose a role
Section titled “3. Enter their email and choose a role”Type in their email address and pick a role from the dropdown:
- Owner — full access to everything, including billing and deleting the organization
- Admin — can manage everything except billing and org deletion
- Group Leader — can view and manage judges within their assigned group
- Judge — can access the judge portal to score entries
- Student — can access the student portal to submit assignments
Most co-organizers should be Admin. Only add Owners for people who need to manage billing or delete the organization.
4. Add a custom message (optional)
Section titled “4. Add a custom message (optional)”Write a personal note that gets included in the invitation email. Up to 500 characters.
5. Send the invitation
Section titled “5. Send the invitation”Click Send Invitation. They’ll receive an email with a link to join. If they already have an account, they can accept right away. If not, they’ll create one first.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- You can resend invitations from the Members page if someone missed the email.
- Pending invitations show up in the members list until they’re accepted.
- You can cancel a pending invitation if you sent it to the wrong person.
