Managing Members

View everyone in your organization, change their roles, manage invitations, and remove people who shouldn’t have access.

You need the members:manage permission to change roles and remove members. The members:view permission lets you see the member list but not make changes.

Click Settings in the sidebar, then click the Members tab. You’ll see every member with their role and join date.

Click the Role dropdown above the member list. Select a role to show only members with that role.

Find the member in the list. Click their current Role badge. Select a new role from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately.

Find the member in the list. Click the Remove button on their row. Confirm the removal in the dialog.

Removing a member revokes their access to your organization. It doesn’t delete their Faire Portal account.

Scroll to the Pending Invitations section. Find the invitation and click Resend. A new email goes out immediately.

In the Pending Invitations section, click Cancel next to the invitation. The invite link stops working immediately.

  • Changing someone’s role updates their permissions right away. They may need to refresh their browser to see the change.
  • You can’t change your own role. Another member with members:manage has to do it.
  • You can’t remove the organization owner. Ownership must be transferred first.
  • Removed members can be re-invited at any time.
